Anna Wolf, LMSW, RYT200
Anna’s journey with yoga began in South India, where she explored the ancient traditions of Ayurveda and Vipassana meditation. After completing her MSW degree from the University of Maryland and becoming a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Anna obtained her 200-hour yoga certification through Blue Heron Wellness in Silver Spring, MD. She currently serves as a Bilingual Clinical Counselor at the Northwood High School Wellness Center, where she provides trauma-informed individual, group and family therapy. Anna uses yoga and meditation practices to help clients develop mindfulness, emotional regulation, stress reduction and relaxation skills. Her teachings cultivate awareness of self in relation to somatic experience, facilitating deep release and energy transformation via focused breath and movement. Anna believes the body speaks through sensation, and yoga is a gift that helps us listen to this voice and tend to its messages.
