MY MISSION AND HOW I ORGANIZE CLASSES
Comprehensive practice of Yoga that includes the different modalities like Pranayama (breathing exercises), Asana practice (postures), and Meditation, not only helps us achieve physical benefits but also helps develop self- compassion, self-awareness, clarity, serenity, and empowerment. In my classes, I like to integrate all the aforementioned modalities to apply the ancient wisdom to our contemporary world in a useful and understandable way. In addition to teaching Yoga basics, I focus on alignment and creative sequencing for joyful and inviting mixed-level Hatha and Vinayasa yoga for everyone.
YOGA TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Since the completion of my YTT 200 training, I have been conducting small group classes and private classes in Washington DC Metropolitan Area. I have also been conducting free community classes as a service at various locations. References available on request.
