Hannah Davis, LMSW, LGSW, RYT-200
Hannah Davis, LMSW, LGSW, RYT-200 began practicing yoga in 2009 while surrounded by picturesque views of mountains in Phoenix, Arizona. Hannah found yoga challenges her mentally, physically, and emotionally and has experienced the transformative impact yoga has on her both on and off the mat. Ready to share yoga and its power with others, Hannah went on to pursue her 200-Hour yoga teacher certification at Sky House in 2017. As a social worker, Hannah has extensive experience working with youth and families of diverse backgrounds.
In 2016, Hannah founded Vikara Village, a nonprofit that helps individuals deal with the challenges of everyday life. This innovative program brings together yoga and arts to help people develop a healthy sense of self, community and belonging. Hannah has completed Street Yoga’s Trauma-Informed Yoga for Youth Training, Diana Tokaji’s Surviving Assault: Yoga Essentials as Early Intervention Following Assault or Trauma and Hannah Leatherbury’s 30-Hour Ayurveda Immersion.
Hannah’s teaches a flowing style yoga that combines breath and movement to bring joy and awakening to the spirit. She is a Licensed Social Worker in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
