Thaiia  has been a healing cultivator, writer, creative and wellness enthusiast honing her resilience since she was a girl. Writing affirmations, curating music and meditating when she wakes and as she falls asleep help keep her grounded. Maintaining a plant-based diet for almost 20 years keeps her vibrant.

She doesn’t have “it” all figured out;  still, she has a story to share. Sometimes, it’s how she gave away her power in her 20s and found that nature heals in her 30s. Sometimes, it’s how her marriage/divorce served the  purpose of helping to awaken her and that music is a form of medicine. Sometimes, she reminds that you don’t have to wait for someone or something to save you; you can show up for yourself bigger and own “I’m here. Healing is my right and responsibility.”
Now an author and speaker, “Honey peppered tongue” is her first collection of cathartic poetry + and prose inspired by her own journey of wellness and healing (available on Amazon).

She is also the founder of a good day to heal, a cathartic, creative and evolving blog and online community space for souls to the work of deepening self-awareness, self-love, self-care and self-healing.

Often journaling and capturing nature,  this sensual earth found her voice and her people around themes of vulnerability, self-love, wellness, Mother Earth, cathartic writing and self-healing. She received her post-baccalaureate certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). In the new year, she will be continuing her studies at MUIH on the masters degree track in health and wellness coaching, with a concentration in holistic nutrition.  At the core of her coaching work is guiding clients through the accountability, the energy shifts, the intentional internal work, the process, and the unknown place of healing. Cultivating a healing mindset and presence that transforms your mind, heart, body, energy anatomy and life.

Thaiia is a Philadelphia native (jawn if we’re proper) living in the Washington DC metropolitan area with her teenage son and daughter, turntables, plants named “happy” and “grace” and the fresh flowers of the week.
